Job Description
- Prepare HK Attendant job assignments.
- Maintaining the departmental logbook with proper hand over to the next shift.
- Holds the morning briefings.
- Conducting (SOP) Trainings.
- Issues keys and supplies to room attendants.
- Takes note of VIPs, Do Not Disturb, sleep out, double-lock, discrepancy rooms and takes appropriate action.
- Attends daily meetings and receives special instructions.
- Receives check-outs before reporting them as ready for sale.
- Receives special requests from guests and carries them out.
- Attends to guest complaints.
- Inspects areas cleaned using checklist to see that cleaning is adequate, supplies in room are as per standard, and need for immediate repairs are reported.
- Makes job order for room or item in need of repair and send to the concerned dept. follows-up to ensure work is completed satisfactorily.
- Fills out report and hands over found articles to the lost and found department.
- Supervising and checking cleaning of guest rooms, corridors and stairwells.
- Trains and assists room attendants and advises Assistant Housekeeper if performance is not satisfactory.
- Supervises special cleaning of rooms.
- Check and order supplies for designated floors.
- Assists with inventory.
- Ensures that all housekeeping machines and equipment are properly handled and maintained.
Skills
- Work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large organizations.
- Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products.
- Excellent organizational and team management skills.
- Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- High school diploma is a plus.
